It‘s the Pacific vibe: about 20 years after the start of production the Porschemuseum StefanBogner and Nicole Hettesheimer are unveiling the ultimate story about one of the most desirable super sports cars ever built: the Porsche Carrera GT. The high-performance Porsche sports car with the DNA of a racecar has its origin in a prototype secretly shaped at the former Porsche Styling Studio in Huntington Beach, California. “Super-Love“ shows the importance of making the impossible possible but at first everything is always completely different. 

“We both kept the first sketches until today.” August Achleitner and Grant Larson are the first Porsche employees working on the Carrera GT project strictly confidential. Together with NeilBrooker and the new Porsche design team based in Los Angeles the “Show car squad“ was formed. Their first work result, the Carrera GT prototype, has been presented to the public in a spectacular manner at the Paris Motor Show in 2000. The story of a super dream car, thanks to the team at Porsche Museum Porsche and Delius Klasing and everyone involved.
